Our Story
If you’re new to the topic, start with IPL Basics. For step-by-step use, see Safety & Usage.
Why we built MITHLUX
At-home IPL works best when it’s treated like a routine: consistent sessions, correct technique, and realistic expectations. Many devices are marketed as “instant,” but real progress is usually a gradual process.
We built MITHLUX to make that process easier: a device designed to be reliable, plus a knowledge system that helps you start safely and stay consistent.
What we believe
- Comfort supports consistency. When sessions feel manageable, users are more likely to stick with the plan (see What to expect in your first weeks).
- Safety is not a slogan. Good outcomes start with suitability and correct use (check Skin & Hair Guide and Safety & Suitability).
- Technique matters. Small details often make the biggest difference (tips: place the window flat, move slowly, shave first).
Our approach
We design around stable output, controlled energy delivery, and clear user guidance. This is why we treat “Technology” and “Support” as part of the product — not an afterthought.
Technology you can understand
- Technology — the full overview.
- Stable Wavelength Output — consistency matters for repeatable sessions.
- Energy Control System — choosing levels with better control.
- Safety Design — built-in safeguards and practical guidelines.
What results should feel like
Results are usually gradual. Most people notice changes after a few weeks of consistent sessions, then maintain with a less frequent routine. A realistic timeline helps you stay confident and avoid over-treating.
- Start with the basics. Use the Starting IPL level guide and build gradually.
- Check common mistakes. Many “slow results” issues come from speed, contact, or inconsistency (see common mistakes & easy fixes).
- Maintain smartly. After you reach your goal, keep results with safe maintenance sessions (read Safe & Smart Ways to Maintain Your IPL Results).
Safety starts with suitability
IPL is not a one-size-fits-all tool. Suitability depends on skin tone, hair color, and personal factors. We recommend checking suitability before your first session — and anytime you restart after a long break.
